What we do
Jump Start to a Healthy Start, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax exempt community based organization established in February 2014, dedicated to education, outreach and supportive programs for families across Georgia.

Education
Through identifying nutritional facts and providing this information through our website and in print, we seek to educate children, families and caregivers on the various ways to serve healthy and nutritional meals on a shoestring budget.

Outreach
Through partnerships and collaborations, we seek to connect with those whose mission, programs and services align with ours, as well as those who can serve as a source to refer our clients and the populations we serve to.

Supportive Programs and Services
We provide programs and services that support children, adults and families whose socioeconomic status prevents them from purchasing nutritional food — including meals, Thanksgiving turkeys and Holiday Care Boxes.

No organization has the resources to be everything to everybody. Where a need falls outside our programs, we refer families through our network to partners who are able to assist them — so nobody leaves us empty handed.
